Close Up Magic

Close-up magic refers to magic performed in close proximity to the audience. Also known in the trade as ‘Sleight of Hand’ or ‘Intimate Magic’, this branch of magic features the magician performing amazing miracles at close quarters using smaller props such as cards, coins, rings and money.

This branch of magic has been highly popularized by well-known magicians such as David Blaine who performs close-up magic on the streets.

Usually highly interactive and audience participative, usually Graham can present close-up magic in 3 different forms:

Close-up/ Parlour Shows – Formal sit-down or stand-up shows for small audiences such as private parties, hospitality/ VIP suites and small venues

Walk-Around/ Mingling Magic – For cocktail receptions, stand-up parties and weddings. This form of close up magic requires experience and skill to pull off, as you will be working without tables.

Table Magic – For restaurants, pubs, bars and seated banquetsThis type of magic is performed on a very personal level with much of the amazing stuff happening at very close quarters or even in you own hands! This is a great way to keep guests occupied whilst there are 'dead spots' between food service.

Performing outstanding close up magic has earnt Graham the reputation as the man who makes impossibility a reality.
